Free Defensive Driving Classes
Monday, June 16, 2008

The Delaware Safety Council is offering safe-driving courses for 16-year-old and 17-year-old drivers this summer free-of-charge to the first 100 teenagers who register in each of the state's three counties. "It is clear that young drivers who take a defensive driving course realize an immediate improvement in their safety awareness as drivers, effectively reducing their likelihood of being involved in a traffic accident," said Harry Roosevelt, executive of the Delaware Safety Council.
The courses will be offered in each of the three counties on a first-come, first-served basis.
